Public Relation of IAIN Parepare – Musmulyadi, Head of the Community Service Center of LP2M IAIN Parepare, joined 12 other Heads of Community Service Centers from PTKIN (State Islamic Higher Education Institutions) in a meeting to formulate innovative community service programs for Diktis (Directorate of Higher Education) in 2024. The meeting took place at the Aviary Bintaro Hotel in Jakarta from Thursday to Saturday (February 29 – March 2, 2024).
The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including Ahmad Zainul Hamdi (Director of Diktis), Muh. Azis Hakim (Head of Sub-Directorate for Research and Community Service), Amiruddin Kuba (Sub-Coordinator for Community Service), and Abdul Basid (Sub-Coordinator for Research & HAKI Management Diktis). Through intense and collaborative discussions, the participants generated various innovative concepts, including plans to implement the KKN Nusantara (National Community Service) program, ICON UCE (University Community Engagement), and hold a Shortcourse on Community Service.
This meeting marked a strategic collaboration between Kemenag (Ministry of Religious Affair) and higher education institutions, including IAIN Parepare. The 13 Heads of Community Service who attended the event were tasked with formulating innovative steps for the Diktis 2024 community service program.
The primary focus of the meeting was to formulate a pilot program for PTKIN campuses to master the surrounding ecosystem to strengthen moderation and nationalism. Additionally, the finalization of the Guidelines for Community Service Assistance in 2024 was successfully completed, providing a clear direction for future community service programs.
Musmulyadi expressed his hope that through this activity, IAIN Parepare's community service initiatives would consistently support the institution's vision and mission, as well as the Islamic and diversity values that serve as the institution's philosophical foundation, in accordance with the roadmap or guidelines jointly designed by Diktis.
