The Minister of Religious Affairs Initiates National Coordination Meeting 2024 to Strengthen Bureaucratic Transformation towards Indonesia's 2045 Golden Vision

Semarang, February 5, 2024 - The Minister of Religious Affairs RI, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, officially initiated the 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This prestigious event, held at Gumaya Tower in Semarang, Central Java, from February 5th to 7th, 2024, was attended by dignitaries including the heads of State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN), as well as senior officials of levels I and II, Provincial Offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and leaders of State Islamic Colleges (PTKN).


The 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) focused on the theme of "Transformation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Towards Indonesia Emas 2045." This event provided a valuable platform for discussing strategic initiatives to enhance the bureaucratic transformation of the Ministry. The goal is to make it more professional, accountable, and transparent.


The Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nizar Ali, emphasized the crucial importance of the National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) in improving the services of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This forum will not only assess the accomplishments of 2023, but also discuss the goals set by the Ministry for 2024 and the strategies to achieve them. It will highlight the strong commitment to realizing the national development vision.


The National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) 2024 is an important milestone, representing the culmination of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024 and the final phase of the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2005-2025. Indonesia is determined to attain a level of prosperity comparable to that of upper-middle-income nations.


The Ministry of Religious Affairs prioritizes improving the quality of human resources through religious and religious education. Yaqut Cholil Qoumas shown his commitment to digitalization by organizing the National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) and advocated for broad digitalization across all units.
